February 12 is the 206th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin. Everyone is invited to celebrate Darwin Day with us!
You can begin your day with a tour of the Museum of Nature (https://www.meetup.com/CFI-ottawa/events/220071927/) , or come directly to the CCOC meeting room at 464 Metcalfe (just up the street from the Museum)
11:30-12:00 gather at CCOC room
12:00-12:30 Talk: Life of Darwin (presented by Emily Cooper, graduate student in biology at University of Ottawa
12:30- 1:15 Potluck Lunch (please bring appetizer, salad, main dish or dessert)
1:15-2:00 Talk: Evolution and Philosophy (presented by Keith Douglas, Philosophy Enthusiast)
2:00-3:00 Free discussion and social
From 1:00 to 3:00 we will simultaneously be presenting "Kids for Inquiry" activities for children age 3-11
Cost is $5.00 for non CFI members, $3.00 for CFI members (free for students and limited income CFI members).
