COLLECT is committed to artists - providing a forum and mentorship for career development. COLLECT is the first voice on arts in New York City – via its blog and involvement with other media and publications

If you are a working artist in New York City we want you to bring your voice to the conversation about art and the art industry in New York City.

Who is an Artist?

The Artist is currently living and working in New York. Their work demonstrates exceptional vision and execution. They have a proven record of their on-going commitment to the development of their work through a history of group/solo shows, or field related employment/education and through regular participation in COLLECT meetups and events. Sound like you or someone you know?

Who is COLLECT?

COLLECT is a sole proprietorship that provides a monthly mentorship/networking meeting for emerging artists. COLLECT brings working professionals from the varied fields in arts practice/business to share their experience with emerging artists. COLLECT maintains a blog that responds to current trends in art and art criticism in New York. COLLECT hosts bi-monthly art events in which selected artists from a variety of disciplines brought together and asked to create works/performances that respond to a given theme - works are auctioned for charity at the end of each event.  COLLECT maintains a curated online gallery that hosts 7 shows annually (6 group/solo and 1 annual retrospective- a selection of the year’s highlights from both the web and live events). COLLECT hosts 4 pop-up shows annually, 5% of proceeds from these events are donated to New York Cares. COLLECT hosts 1 fundraising party annually in APRIL: 100% of proceeds are donated to New York Cares. COLLECT offers personal consulting to artists and collectors. Members of COLLECT receive discounts on art supplies and framing at friendly stores.
