I have lived in Bend 10 years and gone thru a lot of learning and growing. I have enjoyed my profession for the past 9 years and will retire Jan. 2015. It brings me great meaning and purpose to be of service to others and empower them. I enjoy being domestic and have many talents in home decorating and baking and cooking. I love to entertain and meet new people and share stimulating conversation. I am light and fun and love to laugh with funny people. I married and divorced in Bend and am single at this time. I have a lot of dear friends and enjoy a vast assortment of activities. I find it exciting to meet new people and connect on different levels. We are all learning and growing according to our own level of experience. Aloha and Mahalo
I really love gardening. My flower baskets, pots and boxes are flourishing at the moment. I have kayaked many years and find it to be so relaxing, enjoyable and easy to access remote, beautiful places in nature. I did most of my kayaking on Big Island in Hawaii. There is nothing finer than pulling onto a remote, secluded white sandy beach and sleeping under the stars after an afternoon of kayaking, swimming and good fun and food. I have enjoyed Hosmer and Sparks, Clear lake and Paulina. The lakes are much easier to navigate than ocean kayaking. I do like the warm tropical breezes and the awesome ocean of the tropics. I love to take walks in nature and connect to the pure positive energy of Universe. I got into mountain biking last Autumn and fell in love with how easy and fun that is. I love Silver Falls, Sahaile Falls, Clear Lake and Suttle lake.
I was born in New York and my folks moved to Calif. when I was 3 years old. I grew up in San Juan Capistrano and later moved to Laguna Beach and Newport Beach. I lived there when it was beautiful and not crowded. I went to nursing school and worked at Hoag Memorial Pediatrics. In 1976 I traveled with the Club Med as an emergency resident Nurse for 2 years in 4 fantastic places and had the best time of my life. In 1979 I traveled around the world with my x- husband for 1 year. We did the Asia overland to India trip-exploring 15 countries and soaking in all the culture, exotic experiences and extraordinary times we could. After that I lived in Hawaii for 24 years on the Big Island where I created a chocolate mousse business and after some odd jobs, got a great position working with a pediatrician for 17 years. I had a home, 2 horses, a golden named Opal and loved my life there in the islands. I met a man in Kona and in 2004 moved to Bend but it did not work out . I am here now.
I have heard of the meet up groups but working a full time job has limited me from joining in on many outings. I am soon to retire and very excited to have new places to go and people to meet. I lived in Hawaii 24 years and grew up in Laguna Beach.
