We are excited to announce our third CS4TX RGV Educators Meetup, a series of community events in partnership with Mission EDC, Mission CISD, Teach For America Rio Grande Valley, CS4TX, and Code/Interactive!

This Meetup is appropriate for any educator, including but not limited to:

  • Any K-12 educator is interested in teaching computer science or coding to their students in the future. No prior knowledge about computer science is necessary to attend!

  • Any current K-12 computer science teachers that want to learn about more resources and meet more CS teachers.

Come learn about computer science professional development options in this session to help you decide what to sign up for this summer! You'll learn about CS courses and resources like:

• Scratch Creative Computing (http://scratched.gse.harvard.edu/guide/)

• Exploring Computer Science (http://www.exploringcs.org/)

• AP Computer Science Principles (various providers) (https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/courses/ap-computer-science-principles/course?course=ap-computer-science-principles)

And many more! Bring every teacher from your school that is interested in learning about professional development options -- there are a lot of choices coming to the RGV!
