Lets get together for a fun visit, tour, and picnic at Longhopes Donkey Shelter!
This is an unforgetable tour. See the photos for a small example of the precious angels you will have the pleasure of meeting while you are there. Feel free to bring carrots and apple slices to treat the donkeys. It's as much a treat for us as it is for them.
We will have a guided tour of the donkey rescue facility and grounds, meet the wonderful rescued souls who call the shelter home, and then enjoy a vegan brown bag picnic together afterwards, while we chat about our new donkey friends.
Please bring your own plant-based (vegan) brown bag lunch and drinks. A dessert will be provided for all.
The shelter is awesome and, as all sanctuaries, they truly need our support. The tour fee is a $5 donation per adult, with all funds collected going to the care of the donkeys. Children 16 & under can join us free. If you can manage a larger donation, there will also be a donation jar available so you want to toss in a little extra to help care for these darling beings. The shelter requires a prepayment in order for them know how many folks to expect, and to avoid no shows, so we have set up paypal for this event. The event RSVP is $5.50 per
person. The extra is to cover the paypal costs. Please read the paypal instructions and refund policy carefully. Thank you!
