May "The Four Loves" Meetup

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/a/0/2/event_116462562.jpegFor May we're reading Lewis' wonderful short work The Four Loves. This book has Lewis exploring the different forms that love can take in the Greek language: charity, friendship, eroticism, and affection. In distinctly Lewis-like fashion, he writes about how different cultures have been better or worse at these various forms of love, and highlights the distinct type of love practiced by God, love which is pure gift.
Please bring your book along with a section or two of The Four Loves that was meaningful to you.
Even if you didn't find time to read, please come! The evening is sure to be a stimulating one, whether you read the book or not.
For those who need to purchase the book, you can get it @ Half.com for $2 - or loan it from the Seattle Library. If you can afford an extra dollar or two though, consider supporting local businesses by purchasing the book at your nearby used bookstore (for instance, Twice Sold Tales on Harvard Avenue in Capitol Hill).
See you soon!
Simon
