MOVEMENT FOR A SUSTAINABLE WORLD
LEMMA:
We share a common demand to our representatives for a sustainable world.
Imagine the majority of the population of a strategic city like Geneva, a headquarters of the United Nations, supporting a common demand to our representatives worldwide. Imagine, someday, the majority of the politically-active people in the world supporting this common demand and making it come true. This is our vision.
DEMAND & COMMITMENT
"We demand that our governments coordinate internationally to develop a global plan of action for the smooth transition to a new sustainable socio-economic system for the people, one which puts in place the already existing ideas and technologies.
[...]
The objective is so essential that it requires each of us' personal contribution to become real. Specifically, it requires my commitment to spreading the demand among my closest people (at least two of them). My real challenge is to make them participate wholeheartedly in the movement, so that they themselves will bring along more people (at least two, each)... and so on for their followers. [...]"
The concept, in a nutshell.
- A strong — but universal — demand.
- A reliable and powerful communication method (word of mouth; viral communication).
- An immense number of interconnected participants supporting the common demand. Coordination and monitoring of the process through a website (not yet available).
- A global coordinated action to enforce our demand (International organizations in Geneva, Rio+20 Earth Summit and country by country).
- Monitoring of the implementation of our demand (website).Join us for the next edition of CSR meetup Geneva.
