Since CSR London was formed in September 2011, our membership has grown rapidly and now stands at more than 160 members, drawn from many sections of the community and representing varying degrees of expertise and experience in the field of CSR.
Over the past year we have had Meetups that addressed the expressed desire of members to pursue three theme tracks, namely education, activism, and social. In the course of this we have had some great presentations by guest speakers and some really good debate and discussion. In addition, many of those attending have found the Meetups to be a valuable forum for making new contacts and extending their business and social networks.
As organisers, Sally, Michael and I want to build on the success of our first year by inviting members to come and help shape the Meetup programme for 2013. So if you are free on the evening of the 17th October, please consider coming along with your thoughts and ideas about topics and speakers etc. As the name implies, Meetups are first and foremost about meeting people who have a shared interest and we want to have a programme for next year that encourages members to attend Meetups and do just that.
We will be at our usual venue at the Cheshire Cheese in the Temple area (as always, not to be confused with Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese in Fleet Street!) and a cash bar will be available before and after the Meetup.
