From the time we first came together as a nation there have been citizens calling for the creation of a US Department of Peace. The first bill calling for the creation of a peace department was introduced by Senator Matthew Neely of West Virginia in 1935, but the country was not ready to embrace such a bill. The time is now.

Right now there is a bill in the House that calls for the creation of a cabinet level US Department of Peace. We are working to convince our district Representatives to become a co-sponsor of the bill.
