Your Organizer, Francis Sealey, sent the following message to some members of GlobalNet21:

You have registered to take part in the streaming event tomorrow on "Science & The Future Of Global Development." Here is the information about how you an log on to that meeting.

You’ll see the livestream information at this link at:

You click on this and it will take you to a page of information about the meeting and at the top of the page an icon that tells you to watch the video and if you click this just before 6.30pm tomorrow then it will take you to the live event. It ends at 8.0pm

Four leading scientific institutions, the Royal Society, British Council, SciDev.Net and UKCDS are working together to explore the role for science in the future of global development, and specifically its contribution to the post-2015 development goals. We are dis using with the British Council how we can take these activities further.

Obviously if you are not a paid up member of GlobalNet21 then we cannot make it a prerequisite that you pay before you log on as this is a public event. However if you still have not paid your annual subscription (a modest £12 that will cover you for a whole year of our network events and allow you to bring along a guest free) then it really does help us. So we would appreciate it if you can help in this way. We never refuse membership to those who cannot afford it but for those who can then this finance is important for us for the work we do.

This coming year we plan to keep the £10 figure for all those who will commit to a recurrent payment of £10 per year for the next three years. For those doing this then this fee of £10 will not go up at all for the next three years.

If you want to take advantage of the £10 recurrent subscription then you can pay at

For those who want to join for one year only or one year at a time then the annual subscription this year will be £12. You can pay for the one year subscription either through paypal at

Or you can pay your GlobalNet21 subs through our Eventbrite site at:

Hope you enjoy the meeting. I will be there in person so might give you all a wave!

Best wishes,
