WWFM IX 2012 Prince's Island - Calgary Edition (GC3ERW1)

2012 WWFM IX Prince's Island Event
An open invitation to all local and non local geocachers. Join us for the 2012 WWFM IX which takes place simultaneously around the globe. This event is scheduled to go, rain or shine.

Location : Prince's Island (N 51° 03.313 W 114° 04.203)
Date: Saturday June 9, 2012
Start time: 11:00 am sharp
End time: 11:15 am

Protocol: Prior to 11:00am, wander around near the site acting naturally until the whistle blows at exactly 11:00am, when everyone will quickly converge on the coordinates.
For the Flash Mob to have its full effect, we must appear to come from nowhere and disappear just as quickly.

Logging Requirements: It is important to note that there will be no logbook at this event. In order to log the event you must come prepared with a readymade log card and deposit it into the WWFM IX box. The card can be any size and decorated in absolutely anyway you choose, get artistic and creative but remember the card must have your geocaching name on it somewhere.

Attire: Since the event is taking place on Princes Island the theme of the event will be "Island Wear" which is much the same as beach wear. Come outfitted in anything you like that adheres to the general theme, this includes sun hats, shades visors, bermuda shorts, Hawaiian shirts, leis, hula skirts or anything else you like. Accessories you might consider: umbrellas, frisbees, inflatables, beach balls, snorkels, etc.

• drop your log cards in the official WWFM IX box.
• talk about caching
• discuss upcoming summer trips
• attempt to extract puzzle tips from others
• trade TB's
• talk about the weather

11:10 Assemble for the official group photograph
11:15 am The event is officially over. Put away your beach balls and frisbees, pack up your hampers and quickly leave the area.
