Didn't manage to meetup with anyone else. But I did have some breakfast at the flying J, then rode a couple hundred Km. When I got to High River I was starting to get pelted with ice crystals so I turned east toward vulcan, made a loop and came home.

Ok, sounds good Bruce, see you a 9:00 at the flying J for breakfast. If the roads are dry I'll be on the bike and will take the long way home, maybe through Idus - Carsland - cross the river - Okotoks overpass - back home. That will be enough on a 3 degree day.

ok, so the forecast is a moving target. Let's watch it for another day then figure out a plan. I'm not interested in riding for 4 or 5 hours in freezing temps when it's snowing or raining. 8-o

Maybe we can set the start time back an hour and do a shorter run, but lets wait till tomorrow to see what the weatherman is saying.

Right now I'm thinking meet at the flying J at 10:00 go in the resturant for a coffee and figure it out.

Anyone tentatively in for that?

It's looking like that front is coming sooner than they expected. The weather map shows the front to the north and west. South and South-East of Calgary look clear, at least no percipitation, but cool, for saturday. We could shorten the ride, maybe do Vulcan instead.

There must be someone out there interested in a ride on Saturday. Forecast is still clear south of town for Saturday, temps will be cool +9 in Pincher Crk.

We can shorten it, or modify the route. Comon gang, lets get out another time while we can before the snow flies. :-)
