As per the GPS, we covered about 8.5km and gained a net elevation of 700m. Great day and great group. Hope to see you all again on another hike soon.

Sorry for the last minute drop out!

We had our first outdoor rugby practice tuesday evening and I tweaked my knee a bit (old injury made new?) and just got back to walking properly today, so I don't think I can snowshoe just yet. Sorry again! :(

I recommend doing it counterclockwise. Southeast Ridge usually holds much less snow than South Ridge so you can hit deeper snow on the way down. It's also more scenic this way.

There was very little snow on Southeast Ridge when we did it over a month ago and only ankle-deep snow in the trees on South Ridge, probably more by now.

I will put my name on the wait list. I think I will be able to make it. My work shift has changed. If you can believe it I have never done this one.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
