Rock Climbing / Heart Creek.

***It is extremely important to read the following information carefully and prepare accordingly.***

It is the responsibility of the participant to check for any updates, changes or cancellations before the trip. Gear checks will be conducted at the meet up location. Failure to have the required gear will result in the participant not attending the trip.

An automatic waiting list has been created for this trip. Participants will be selected based on experience for the selected objective. Participants must be punctual and have a good RSVP history. Which means they do not constantly change their RSVP statuses, are not regularly late and do not back out last minute. No shows will be black listed.

Membership:

In order to participate in a CSMC trip, you must have paid for a 2014 membership. Cost for membership with the CSMC is $20. Payment can be made online through the CSMC page on Meetup. Waivers are mandatory for every trip and can be filled out at the meeting location.

Car pooling:

Anyone who has a vehicle may be asked to drive for the trip. Please make sure to bring gas money for car pooling. It is recommended that drivers charge a 20 cent per kilometer / $20 every 100 kilometers rate for driving. This can be divided by the number of occupants in the vehicle. For example if the trip is 300 km’s round trip and there are four people in the vehicle. The cost for gas would be $15 per person.

The plan is to head to Heart Creek and get some climbing done. This is an early start as I am doing Mount Lorette the next day.

RC 2-3 is required for this trip. Please refer to the following link for more information:

Still planning on meeting at 7 am? Seems a bit early with the second winter.

Yes, unfortunately, I have to fight traffic across the entire city to get to Shouldice. We can go to McDonalds by COP and grab a coffee and breakfast to kill sometime and chat about where we want to go. I bet that Heart creek is not the best option with all the snow we have had.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
