This isn't a replacement for professional therapy or medicine.
This IS a place where we can:
- share our thoughts about depression and social anxiety.
- offer each other words of encouragement.
- see that we're not alone in fighting depression and social anxiety.
- have fun keeping active with physical activities or social with outings to coffee shops and other places.
Some surveys have shown that as many as twenty people in a hundred suffer from depression at one time. It's time Calgary had a meetup group that deals with an ailment that often gets swept under the rug.

You are not required to pay the Organizer a meetup fee.
You only have to cover the cost of anything food or beverages at the places we attend.
Events will be at either no-cost or low-cost places as I don't want to deter people from attending!
