ARM mbed and IoT - Tech Talks

Details

ARM's mbed (http://mbed.org/) team invites you to come and hear deep-dive details on the things we're building to enable developers and companies to build IoT devices.

The event will be run as a series of technical lightning talks and demos from engineers working on the different areas to introduce you to key concepts and implementations we're working on. Topics will likely include:

• Scheduling and power management techniques for MCUs

• High availability web services for managing IoT devices

• Thread, Bluetooth Smart and secure networking protocols for IoT devices

• Implementing cryptography, keys and prevention of attacks on MCUs

• Web-inspired tools for building composable embedded software

• Testing infrastructure for driving embedded testing as a culture

• Trends we see in IoT silicon

These talks should be interesting to anyone working in embedded, web services, devops, tooling and test, wireless, app design and connected product development.

You'll also have a chance to meet members of the mbed engineering team. If you're interested in finding out more about opportunities to work here with us you can do that too.
