This month we have another two interesting and original talks on mobile. Join us for a drink from 7 and the talks start upstairs shortly after 7:30. This is followed by networking downstairs in the bar from around 8:45 with a drinks tab kindly supported by Red Gate (http://www.red-gate.com/).

Michael Dales, who organises the local CambMacDev (http://twitter.com/CambMacDev) group and is part of the Bromium (http://www.bromium.com) team will be doing a talk on responsiveness in apps, dealing with network practicalities and how best to tolerate failure.

Shen Liang, a Drupal developer at the European Bioinformatics Institute will be doing a talk on:

Build Web App in 3 Days: Rapid prototyping with Drupal

I will give a introduction of Drupal, a popular open source content
management system/framework, and share my experience of a web app
project UberCheckout.com (http://ubercheckout.com). In this project, I built a Twitter geo
search application with contributed modules and custom codes in very
short time and made it mobile friendly with responsive theme. I'm also
going to give a simple demonstration for creating PhoneGap app while
using Drupal as backend.
