If you have always wanted to wild camp in the forest this experience is for you.

It is an authentic wild camping experience. We will hike through the forest for roughly 1.6km/1mile. There are no facilities on site. Everything you will need has to be carried in and out by yourself.

The aim is to get people used to wild camping, legally and safely. It's a chance to try out any kit you may have. Find out what works and what doesn't. Meet new friends. Share your skills and learn from others too.

Imagine as it becomes dusk hearing the hoot of owls or spotting some passing deer. Seeing the stars at night in the forest is a special experience everyone should have.

The Forestry Commission have kindly given us permission to wild camp in Thetford Forest for the night. The event is covered by Public Liability Insurance, a qualified First Aider and Risk Assessments undertaken. So it is safe, legal and family friendly.

We are permitted a maximum 16 participants so please book quickly to ensure your place. It is family friendly. If you want to bring children please contact me to discuss.

This is the first time Forestry Commission have given permission for us to group wild camp. Our aim is to build a great relationship and have many more future wild camps. Please respect the site and 'leave no trace'. We must make sure all litter and equipment are removed. We can expect that a Forest Ranger will visit us at some point. No smoking or lighting of fires. Please carry a mobile phone and personal first aid kit.

You must complete the consent form and return it to us by 20th March. Without it you cannot attend. Download the consent form.
