We had a busy weekend on Vendor's Row. I only had a minute to say hello when Marvyn stopped by. I hope everyone who went had a great weekend! Had tons of fun handing candy out to all the trick or treaters. So cute seeing all the costumes. And of course we did get a little break to check out the comp hill area on Saturday night after we ran out of two Costco sized candy bags.

Hey eveyone, FYI. I just bought my Dumont season pass and it has the following weekend marked as the holiday, not the 25th. Not sure if it matter to you but it will to the majority of the people going! I will be heading out that weekend, as well as next weekend the 18th

Funny how the BLM changed their mind on which weekend - they are losing $$ but whatever makes them happy. O.o

Yes they have a whole new crew for Dumont at the BLM office, apparently they didn't keep notes on the official holiday. It has always been traditionally the weekend of or the weekend before. I agree, with this weekend not the "official holiday" it saves everyone $10 on the weekend passes :)

Hopefully next time you will have picked up a trailer. Or you can always rent one super cheap from Uhaul. The bed of my truck will be full or I would offer to toss it in the back of truck.

So, I just looked on dumontdunes.com and it has the Halloween Holiday starting on Oct. 24th, so everyone may be good. I guess the BLM will just miss out on all that revenue for the more expensive dumont holiday passes! Down side, there may not be emergency services available, at least to the same extent...

There actually won't be any emergency services out there if the shut down is still going. BLM won't have any rescue vehicles on site, nor radios to call for help, so help will be on your own. I hope the government is done with this by then, or we will lose out on our vending revenue, and we invested alot for this weekend in particular. But the dunes are open, you just have to be super careful.
