Canadians from across the world have already joined to create a support network for Canadians, share helpful information, discuss issues, create business opportunities and make new friends.

Let us know how we can help you bolster your career, adhere to U.S. immigration requirements, complete transactions at the Canadian Consulate, apply for UI, get a SSN in the U.S., etc. Many of us have lived in the U.S. for a long time and would love to help you avoid the problems we faced as Canadians.

You can make appointments at the Consulate for passport renewal and have them mail your old passport and forms to Canada. We also found FedEx Office (Kinko's) cannot do the correct size for Canadian Passport photos. We recommend PrismPhotoImaging.com who does specialized Canadian Passport Photos which are a different size than U.S. requirements. They also validate parking for two hours and are walking distance to the Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles.

Even though we have a friendly rivalry, the U.S. and Canada are committed allies. We have the largest trading relationship in the world. In 2008, 35 U.S. States exported more to Canada than any other country and Canada consistently exports more to the U.S. than any other country.
