PPAGLA~Press Photographers Association of Greater Los Angeles hosts today's event.

Photojournalists capture images for print, broadcast and digital news sources from current events to long form documentary using a variety of image capture tools. If you are a seasoned vet or a beginning student, you need to keep learning in an ever changing landscape. Today's program will explore various subjects with technical demonstrations; to help your work reach the next level.

This all day intensive will cover important topics for the student, emerging or mid career journalist covering events and news in Los Angeles today. The day will be filled with inspiration, education, and great networking opportunities.

Doors open at 8:30 for registration, light breakfast and networking. Students with ID are free and upon registration will be given a free one year membership to PPAGLA.

• PARKING: There is free all day parking a few blocks south of Sunset in the neighborhoods, a parking garage a few blocks away or one hour meter parking on Sunset Blvd
