January Skating and Pub Meetup

Hi Everyone,

For the January meetup we will be making use of the frigid temperatures to get in a couple of hours of skating at Frog Pond (http://www.bostonfrogpond.com/) .

Frog Pond has skates to rent if needed, and lockers to put your stuff, as you can't bring bags on the ice.

And to warm up after (post 9pm) we will head over to nearby Emmet's Pub for some post-ice brews/food, and if inclined to get crazier, we can pop next door to 6B lounge.

If you don't want to endure the skating and cold, you can meet us at Emmits after 9 pm at 6 Beacon St, Boston Emmet's Pub (http://emmetsirishpubandrestaurant.com/) Feel free to invite friends.

You are encouraged to wear Canadian in all its forms, especially given it is an olympic year. So Canada toques, mittens, scarves, hockey sweaters (NHL & Canada) are encouraged, and make it easier for people to locate us. If you're in Canada over the holidays lots of stuff can be found at the Bay and Sportscheck. And when our Olympic meetups begin in February, this kind of wear is essential in support of our olympic domination!
