Monthly Meeting

Greetings, fellow calligraphers -

Let's get ahead of the curve this weekend, and work out some Uncials -- just in time for your early St. Patrick's Day cards! ....And so goes our impeccable scheduling ;-) Saturday, Harwich Community Center, 10:00am until noon.

Rick Paulus will give a short description of and demonstration of the uncial hand - one of the easier hands to master, and so much fun to play with!

Please bring your standard calligraphy supplies and, as always, bring current and past projects to share and discuss!

With any luck, this will be the last of the last-minute meeting announcements. Our fledgeling committee has determined that we should step things up a notch and better schedule our events as well as membership roles and all that we can do to help improve the calligraphy experience for all. Therefore, a 12 month in advance schedule is being prepared as we speak. In addition, our first USPS mailing is about to hit the streets, as we further establish ourselves as an entity with some semblance of structure! That mailing will include a questionnaire and information regarding membership. We look forward to continuing our monthly meeting with a presentation or workshop and we also look forward to hosting a selection of special workshops throughout the year by local and national artists.

Please note: Anyone interested in assisting with the formation of our committee is welcome to arrive 1/2 hour early on Saturday, at 9:30am, to participate in a short business meeting.
