LET'S MAKE AN ELEGANT MESS!!!

Greetings, All -

Holly Heaslip has, from time to time, brought in papers with really exciting textures and color blends. I asked Holly about these papers and it seems that messing about with papers is one of her many interests that merge well with the calligraphic arts. She has generously offered to share some of these techniques with us during this month's meeting. Here is Holly's description of her presentation:

"Elegant Mess" inspired paper surface techniques. Using Rice and Water Color papers as our base , we'll play with Adirondack Color Washes, Twinkling H2O's, Embossing powders, stencils and stamps to create colorful, random,surfaces. There is a lot of serendipity involved! The papers can be used for calligraphy, card making , journaling etc. A piece of watercolor and rice paper will be provided for each person to play with!
