How Machine Learning Powers Next Glass

Forrest Maready, CTO of Next Glass will join us to discuss some of the technology behind Next Glass. Specifically he will be discussing how machine learning is used to power their scoring algorithms.

Forrest Maready, CTO of Next Glass, is a creative technologist with over 15 years of experience in the entertainment, advertising and mobile industries. He has created award-winning work as both a developer and a designer on projects for companies like Nike, Sony, Universal Music, Sherwin-Williams, Nationwide Insurance and Brown-Forman. Over the past few years, he has focused on architecting complex cloud based APIs on Amazon's AWS, as well as Rackspace and Window's Azure. Previously, he worked for Mckinney in Durham as a developer and designer, and as a software designer for Imagineer Systems in Guildford, England on a visual effects tool (Mocha) that won an Academy Award for Technical Achievement (2013). After having called home Los Angeles, Durham and Surrey,England, Forrest now lives with his wife, son and dog in his hometown of Wilmington, NC.
