Are you now, have you ever been, or would you like to be a Lutheran??? Do you think that Lutherans can actually be a lot of fun now and then? Do you feel sometimes like coffee and doughnuts after Sunday morning church can almost be sacramental? Are you unashamed of your fondness for NPR and A Prairie Home Companion? And, would you describe yourself as left of center politically? Would you enjoy getting to know fellow progressive Lutherans in the DMV outside of a specific congregational context? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then join the CALL, Capital Area Liberal Lutherans! We will gather for fun meals, events, and friendship. Let's be social while we stand for social justice. Let's enjoy and encourage each other while exploring the cultural, dining, musical, ethnic and educational depth and diversity of our fair city.
