We're a new animal rights Meetup group with one goal in mind,that is,to educate the public and potential sponsors of events like the circus-- to demonstrate the events themselves where it makes sense and to follow up with the sponsors after the event to try and discourage them from sponsoring similar events next year.(ok-3 goals that merge into one big goal)
The circus is just one example--there are several events in our area that will receive similar attention from us.
Although a lot of this kind of work can be done from our respective homes we'll need to put on fundraisers to buy media time,place ads and billboard space. We're in the process of becoming a non profit. If this sounds like something you'd like to help out with please join us.
