250-300 people attended. It was busy, festive, so the nose count was difficult, especially with the two ballrooms: the main one where the sponsor presentation was made and where all the ski trip tables were; and the smaller side ballroom where the buffet table and ski industry representatives were. The Ski Adventure Passport game went well, where each attendee visited each ski trip table to get their passport stamped, to be eligible to win one of four $100 vouchers good for any overnight SCWDC ski trip this coming season. There was a $500 ski trip voucher that went to a lucky new member/guest. There were many other door prizes that ranged from Vail Resorts visors, lift tickets, and multi-day lodging and ski packages. There were actually almost too many door prizes, cutting into the dance time. The Capital Ski and Ride specific door prize (a Camelbak hydration pack) went to Leslie Baldwin. Checkout scwdc.org for ski trip openings. 58% of Western/International trips are sold!
