Hope to see you all out there. I'll be talking about SKI FEST (for more info http://scwdc.org/inde.... It will lay out all the up coming ski trips that have been planned so far. Please enjoy.

While this is a Ski Club of Washington DC (SCWDC) Gen X/Y Happy hour, you do not need to be a member of the SCWDC to attend. We do ask that if you do not fall in the Gen X/Y age group, that you please hold off on attending. There are lots of activity the larger group of the SCWDC runs that are directed towards your age group and you would feel more at home. Thanks again. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Showed up at Lucky around 6:00, one other guy was there. We asked around if anyone was with the ski club, and no one was. Did this thing happen? I was there and I still missed it.

damn, that was YOU guys? We asked the people RIGHT NEXT to you if they were ski club... I hoped people in the vicinity would have heard. That sucks. Hope it was fun. Next time let everyone know where you'll be standing, what to look for, let the bartenders know, etc so people like me can know what to do and who to ask.

Yeah. A couple of people not in our group sat down at the bar early on. We were the group sitting behind them. Great point on the bartenders. I told them why I had balloons and who they were for, but I will tell them that if they run into someone looking for the Ski Club, I'll be the person to talk to. Thanks for pointing that out.

Great to see everyone that came out. If anyone has any ideas on where to go for the HH on the 23rd, please let me know. See ya then.

It was very difficult to tell where the group was meeting. Suggestion: next time bring a pair of skis or have the balloons on a table with ski photos or pamphlets about the club. Name tags?
