Coastal Ride with Del Mar Loop

This route makes its way down the coast to Del Mar, avoiding some of the busier streets with some quieter back streets in Encinitas and Del Mar. Just as Torrey Pines comes into view, you make a left onto Carmel Valley Road, work your way on El Camino, and back down to the short bike path link at the end of Sorrento Valley Road that heads back to Carmel Valley Road. This route offers the best coastal scenery around, and at approximately 40 miles, is a challenging distance.

This ride is open to all levels, but will have designated leaders for the intermediate and beginner levels.

NOTE: There is no separate advanced level ride for this week. Many of our members are participating in the Palm Desert Century this day, and we wish them luck.
