Swami's Century Ride

The Swami's Cycling Club is hosting a century ride August 29 starting at Karl Strauss in Carlsbad. There will be food, beer and wine after the ride. Please see http://www.swamis.org/event-1983588 to register on their site. The cost is $30 for non-members and $15 for members. Originally I said it is not supported, but there are two SAG stops.

If you are not quite ready for a century, it is easy to subtract the first part of the ride and just go coastal. Another option would be turning around early (i.e., do not go all the way to Dana Point). This route is intended to be an easier century to attract more first timers.
Anyone participating can modify to fit their riding style/distance. This century and training rides are meant to be inclusive and help newer riders grow. All are invited for the food, beer and wine after the ride.
