Incremental Data Loading with Change Data Capture and SQL Server 2012 Integration Services - Gavin Campbell

This talk will discuss the advantages of an incremental approach to data loading in the data warehouse environment, and review the options provided by SQL Server 2012 for implementing this pattern.
We'll take a closer look at SQL Server Change Data Capture from the database engine perspective, then look at how the new Change Data Capture components in SQL Server 2012 Integration Services make it easier to incorporate this technology into your ETL processes.

Ryan has been delivering and scaling data driven applications and Business Intelligence solutions for Microsoft customers, both on Premise and in the cloud, for 10 years: initially as a SQL Premier Field Engineer for 3 years, then as an Application Development Consultant for 6 Years. For the last 18 months Ryan has focused on Parallel Data Warehouse in the UK.
