Piney Run is renting kayaks again so let's go paddle. Optional hike following 1.5 to 2 hours of kayaking. Great venue for beginners! Renters bring id and $20 for deposit to boathouse by 8:45 so that we can put in by 9:00. Entrance fees are: Carroll C. residents...$5 per car, non-residents...$10 per car. (You may want to meet nearby and carpool into the park together.)

My maybe for meeting afterwards for the hike is more likely a no now - with the weather being iffy and everyone else seems to be bailing. Judy - I may go for a short walk later in the afternoon - weather-permitting and IF I don't ride and may try to finds the trails over on the other side of the lake - if I can find them! :-) Then, we may have have another place to post for a walk....

This is going to have to be a maybe for me. And, I don't think I'll be able to make the kayak part of this. But, might be able to join in on the hike portion after you finish padding. Looks like the hike might occur sometime around 11:00? I could maybe just meet you there at the rental around that time.
