This is just a reminder that the first meeting of the Cascadia Photography Group is next Monday night, 7:00 at the Bellevue Regional Library[masked]th Avenue NE.
Because we didn't have a shooting assignment for this meeting, just bring up to 10 photos you would like to discuss. We'll show them in a round robin fashion until we run out of pictures or interest. Photos can be in jpg or tif format, on a thumb drive or CD. I originally requested that people bring laptops. That isn't necessary because I have a TV-monitor we can use that produces decent quality images and is big enough for a small group. Bye the way, don't feel that you must have pictures to participate.
So RSVP if you haven't yet and bring some ideas for our first shooting assignment.
NOTICE: CASCADIA MEETUP GROUP MEMBERSHIP IS CLOSED AT THIS TIME
(The group is currently at capacity and regrettably new membership requests are closed at the present time.)
This is a group of amateur photographers who want to share their knowledge and improve their shooting, post-processing, and printing skills. Our activities include photo critiques, self-imposed shooting assignments, and member presentations or demonstrations on photographic topics. Topics might include things like:
Is RAW better than jpeg? What does the histogram tell me? Why shoot to the right? Where can I get good (bird, cityscape, waterfall) shots?
