Bio:
Matt is a co-founder at DataStax, the company behind Apache Cassandra. Prior to DataStax, Matt built and managed the Email and Apps infrastructure development group at Rackspace. Prior to Rackspace, Matt was at Webmail.us where he worked in various management roles in infrastructure and scalability. Matt holds a BS from Virginia Tech in Computer Science.

Bio:
Patrick is an experienced developer/architect and has been working in finance in London for the last 16 years. He has worked with a long list of investment banks such as RBS, UBS and Commerzbank. Patrick now works as a Solutions Architect for DataStax in London helping companies to develop mission critical systems using DataStax Enterprise.

Patrick will talk through some best practices around developing for Cassandra and DataStax Enterprise with some tips, tricks and live demos.
