This event immediately follows DataStax' free training session.

This may be the first presentation of Brisk in the Bay Area. For those of you who haven't yet heard, DataStax’ Brisk is an enhanced open-source Apache Hadoop and Hive distribution that utilizes Apache Cassandra for many of its core services.

Giving the presentation on Brisk will be Ben Werther of DataStax. Also on hand will be the Brisk lead, Jake Luciani -- visiting from NYC. This is a great opportunity to have all your Brisk questions answered.

Also at Wednesday's Cassandra meetup will be the team from Ooyala. This is going to be a great opportunity to get the details of their Cassandra deployment first hand from their engineers.
