Why would you like to join CC?

I've enjoyed being in a bookclub - its so interesting to hear what other people think of the books, and it great for getting suggestions of other books to read.

Who are your two favourite authors and why do you like them?

Maybe current favourites rather than overall... Margaret Atwood, for surprising stories and fascinating characters. Vikram Seth for really making me feel what his characters are going through.

Please suggest three novels or short story collections you would like to discuss in future meetings. Include the author's name.

(Simply because of the title) The one-hundred-year old man who climbed out of the window and disappeared, by J. Jonasson; something by Sebastian Faulks; Bring up the Bodies, by H. Mantel

Hello, I live and work in Maidenhead. Looking forward to joining a group for talking about books and getting suggestions of what else to read.
