The club is a non-profit organization run by skiers, for skiers (and snowboarders, too). CJSC was formed in December of 1971, and with steady growth we acquired our own VERMONT SKI LODGE in 1975. The Lodge is located in central Vermont near Killington, and less than an hour from many Vermont ski areas. The club runs weekend trips to Vermont and Long trips out West, to Canada, and to Europe.

Current membership is approximately 260-270.

Joining this group and joining the club are not the same thing. CJSC is a non-profit club, and I do not make any money off of the weekend trips. I do enjoy sharing my love for skiing and snowboarders with others who share this interest.

RSVP’ing here is just a way of telling other meetup group members that you plan to attend an event but in the case of trips, you must contact the Trip Leader to formally register.

One of the CJSC's greatest features is our weekend bus trips! What better way to go skiing in Vermont and New England than when you don't have to drive yourself?
