Walk the Light and other evening walks

Details

Dear Evening Walkers
As you know, we very rarely go walking on winter evenings because when it’s dark there’s less to see. But next week we have two evening walks in a row. On Thursday there is a walk about the Krays, and Friday we are going to walk the light. When London has a big light festival it’s worth taking advantage, with 30 different light sculptures to be spotted
around the city. The festival includes some interactive installations and there will be some road closures to make it easier to get around.
This is a two centre walk starting in Kings Cross then making its way (by tube) to the West End to see more. The total potential walking distance is up to 5 miles but you are welcome to come for the first Kings Cross section only.
Meet at Kings Cross outside the northern tube ticket office (near Platform 9 and three quarters) at 6.30. (For those who came on the Kings Cross horse walk in the summer, this is the same meeting point)
We will finish in a pub or restaurant; everywhere is likely to be busy.
Dave
