Our main speaker this month will be Brandon Craig Rhodes again this month.

Brandon will be previewing the second talk he is giving at PyCon:

Flexing SQLAlchemy's Relational Power

How do you take the big step from casual SQLAlchemy user, who treats your database as a mysterious object store, to advanced power user, who optimizes critical queries, plans indexing and migrations, and generates efficient reports? This talk will teach you how databases think; why humanity invented the Relational Algebra; and how SQLAlchemy grants you access to relational power.

Because it's geared toward PyCon, the talk will be relatively short. If anyone would like to present another talk around a half-hour in length, please contact Brian Costlow or Eric Floehr.

After the main presentation(s) we'll have time for lightning talks and general discussion.

Would love to see you there!
