COUNT Discussion Meeting: New Year Reality Revival-Science & Reality

This week's topic is New Year Reality Revival which is an event inspired in the 90's by the Atheists United group in California. The event takes place during the entire month of January. It focuses on our current understanding of reality through the discoveries an explorations of science. What do we know about reality and why? What new mysteries have been solved and what questions have been answered? Do any of these new understandings relate to our past and present beliefs? What tools do we use and what scientific methodologies are proven reliable in our pursuit of the truth? What questions do we continue to have? What remains to be discovered? Together, we will try to answer some of these often complicated questions.

Atheist, agnostics, other non-theists, and atheist-friendly people are welcome to join us.

A little mess is nothing in the way of winning the favor of the Gods!!!!! Besides, I like a little extra virgin in my olive oil.

If I learned anything from the old testament, sacrifice is the way to go. I am sure virgins and oil are an important part

Meet up was awesome. Thanks for a great discussion that involved, science, religion and many many other things... Sorry if I was too annoying... I really like arguing sometimes and after a loooong day of work some of my personal filters don't work :) Also this is the article I mentioned about consciousness and stuff - it's reaally long...

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
