As President of ZoomInfo, Sam Zales is responsible for driving the company's operations and business strategy. With a proven track record for growing and maturing companies in challenging economic times, Zales brings 25 years of strategy, marketing, sales and product development experience with companies such as BuyerZone, American Express and Bain and Company to ZoomInfo.
In his previous role, Zales was the president and CEO of BuyerZone, the leading Internet marketplace for business purchasing. While at BuyerZone, he led the company from 2000 through its sale to Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier (NYSE: RUK), in January 2007 until November of 2008. He grew BuyerZone through the challenging environment of the dotcom bubble, to rapid revenue and profit growth by focusing the company's operating and marketing efforts to solidify BuyerZone market leadership position.
