When you arrive at my home at 3 Chisolm Street in Charleston, you will see that we are in the old Andrew Murray Vocational School. There are three buildings that comprise 3 Chisolm. As you stand facing the school, we are in the building closest to Broad Street — the building on the far right. It is the old gymnasium building, and looks like, well, a gymnasium!

Three Chisolm is across from the Horse Lot. You should find plenty of parking there.

When you arrive at the front door, you'll see a building key pad. Press "A" until it scrolls to "Bernard." The code 730 will show. Press "Call" and then "730." I will buzz you in.

Go up the stairs. We are in unit 405 at the end of the hall on the left. (NOTE: 405 is NOT the entry code.)

I will have water and coffee and black tea. Make sure you bring writing materials — your favorite writing pen or pencil and a notebook.

If you have any problems or questions, please call me at [masked].

Looking forward to writing together!

There is a sign for the horse lot that says "horse lot parking only" .. I assume they don't tow others? :)

That's my assumption as well. I had out-of-town company for three nights last week. No one got towed. I think you're safe.

Hi! I am new to Charleston and I write for a living and for fun. I am looking for ways to help strengthen my voice and how to make my writing a little tighter (I tend to go off on a tangent being a creative writer and all). I hope this group can help me achieve this and introduce me to fellow writers in the area. =)

Though I cannot attend this week, I am looking forward to the next meetup. Happy writing!

I am so sad to say I must drop out of the group. My car had the transmission go out and it is going to cost far more to repair than the value of car. Until I can find another car I can afford, I am not able to get in from Summerville.

I am so sorry about your car. I hope you can find another one soon. Best of luck Cathy. frances

Cathy, so sorry to hear about your challenge with the car. Hope it resolves itself quickly and easily.

Going to try this again. Such an elaborate way to get into a building :)
