This isn’t your Grandma’s arts & crafts group. Sorry, no needlepoint here. Don’t get me wrong, they’ll probably be some Martha-inspired projects happening, just the cool Martha stuff not the “making a brooch with feathers and crepe paper” type projects. Ever since Pinterest came into my life, I get so inspired to do so many projects. I’ve realized I’m spending too much time pinning stuff I’d like to make then actually doing them! Side note: If you don’t know what Pinterest is, c’mon and jump on the bandwagon. So, if you meet the following criteria, I’d love for you to join in the fun:

1- You’re a female in your 20’s or 30’s.

2- You have at least a mild desire to get crafty and welcome a good DIY challenge.

3- Have a positive attitude and a desire to make some new girlfriends.

4- Are open to having meetings in the Downtown/Mt.Pleasant/James Island/West Ashley vicinity.

Please note this is not an arts & crafts class. I am in no way a teacher. This will be more of a group that learns from and inspires each other. I envision this group getting together at someone’s house, coffee shop or other public locale and everyone working on the same project for that week. Sometimes, we can do meet-ups where you’ll just bring whatever project you’re currently working on. If you get excited at the idea of painting your own artwork, creating a sunburst mirror from scratch or making some Anthropologie-inspired jewelry, this is the group for you.
