Let's Play Mongod! (and Ping Pong) -- Scala Hack Night

Details
Join us for a night of hacking on Scala and Play. This meetup will also provide groundwork for the following meetup, rumoured to be coming at the end of January, where we'll be hosting Engineers from Typesafe discussing Play in more detail (Stay Tuned for more details).
Play is a popular Scala Web Framework and MongoDB is a popular NoSQL Database.
Tresata has Open Sourced a basic REST Server for MongoDB that allows clients to perform simple queries against a MongoDB instance. At this Hack Night, we will setup the Play Framework, MongoDB, and download and run this Server code and begin exploring design patterns.
This project is a good starter project for learning the Play Framework and to begin learning the Joy of Scala Pattern Matching.
The easiest way to get started with Play immediately is to download the current version of the Typesafe Stack (http://typesafe.com/) and for our hack session, download MongoDB (http://www.mongodb.org/downloads)
There are several IDE's that work with Scala and Play and a good reference and setup guide Eclipse, IntelliJ, and NetBeans can be found at:
http://www.playframework.org/documentation/2.0/IDE
Oh but wait!, order now and for one low price (an RSVP) we'll also have a Ping Pong Tourny, Beer Cold, Pizza, and much much more.
