Charlotte Photographers and Models Unite!

This group is dedicated to bringing together the talents of photographers and models for the purpose of building and enhancing their respective portfolios, knowledge, and experience. Come join us. Have some fun, build your skills, build your network, and enhance your portfolio.

We welcome both pro and semi-pro photographers, models, and hair/makup artists to join in on our casual networking meetings. Our networking meetings are designed to facilitate introductions and to encourage the sharing of ideas, experiences, and knowledge. Bring your business cards or comp cards! The goal here is to connect and develop a creative and symbiotic relationship.

On occasion, we will schedule a special "Photoshoot" meetup consisting of a small group of interested photographers, models, and hair/makeup artists who each will agree to trade their time/talent in exchange for the images (TFCD). These are 3-6 hour events whereby every participant should come away with material that can be used to enhance his/her portfolio. Although some studio equipment will be provided, the participants to the "Photoshoots" are encouraged to bring their own lighting, backgrounds, etc.

In addition to the meetups mentioned above, there are many opportunities for "special interest" educational meetups. By drawing on the knowledge of experinced professionals across multiple disciplines, as a group, we can gain valuable knowledge in the areas of photography, post-processing, building model portfolios, fashion/glamor photography, and more.
