Scripting Game v 2013.3

It's time for another scripting game!  At long last - we're hitting one of the most requested topics from our group:

It's SCRIPTING GAME: ACTIVE DIRECTORY edition!!

This game will focus on finding, filtering, updating, adding, and removing objects from AD.  There are several options available to you for this - third party modules for V2 and built-in modules for V3.

Choose your weapon, stretch your fingers, and prepare for battle!

We have a special prize this time around: a copy of Windows Sysinternals Administrator's Reference autographed by the author Mark Russinovich.

This meetup is sponsored by SAPIEN (http://www.sapien.com), makers of Primal Script, PowerShell Studio, and iPowerShell Pro.

It was okay - the original scripting game scenario didn't work from the MS campus as they filter ports on their wireless network. However, people seemed to learn a bit and it turned into something of a social hour. Jason has volunteered to set up an AD lab for us to use in the future, so we'll be able to revisit this technology in a few months.

As always, I learned several key things and did some great networking. You know it's a good meeting when the cleaning folks have to push people to go home.

Very fun, even though the game did not go as planned, such is IT.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
