AWS Chennai Second Meetup - OCTOBER 2015

AWS Chennai Meetup is back for October 2015.

As mentioned earlier, we are continuing our Meetup this month Oct 2015. The Meetup will be on 31 Oct 15 from 11 AM to 1 PM at 8KMiles Chennai Office.

Session 2 : Auto Scaling Infra Systems like Hadoop1 / Mesos / YARN

Description: When we talk about autoscaling people generally talk about scaling stateless web servers / web services behind an ELB. Nobody talks about scaling long running stateful infrastructure components like Mesos / YARN. We will be looking at Vamana - a bare bones autoscaler where you can model the cluster resource requirement as a Demand vs Supply model and it takes care of autoscaling for you.
