Tellico District Trail Maintenance - Starr Mtn Horse Trails

Thursday's work day will be in/around the Gee Creek Wilderness. We intend to clear the blow downs out of Coffee Branch (chainsaw work) and Chestnut Mtn. Trail (crosscut work). There are lots of them, and big ones too. We will need crosscuts, axes, chainsaws, and sling blades. Meet at Tazz's house at 8:00. We will be entering the trails from Iron Gap. A few people can head down the wilderness trail while the others chainsaw their way down Coffee Branch Trail. The crew on Coffee Branch will be in the Bronco II and can pick up the wilderness crew at the lower trail intersection after working the 3.9 mile wilderness trail.
