The Chez Nous Reston Salon meets monthly in Reston, typically on Sundays from 5-8pm

to enjoy a generous buffet and lecture on a broad range of eclectic topics...

from mathematics, to nature to art, decision science...coral reefs and even the universe.

I launched the salon in May 2008 to explore fascinating topics and

build on an idea for "thoughtful entertainment" in Reston, Virginia.

Over two dozen speakers have offered evenings of remarkable interest.

Every month 30-40 people attend from Washington, DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.

Speakers have included:

The Chief Scientist of the Hubble Space Telescope
The Head of Painting Conservation of the National Gallery of Art
The World Bank's expert on coral reefs
A world renowned expert in psychoneuroimmunology
The Senior Vice President and Curator of the National Building Museum

Guests pay for their tickets in advance for catering purposes.

Attend once and you'll see why this salon is popular, offering a rare opportunity for an all-in-one evening of thought-provoking entertainment for a ticket of only $35.
